Our Leadership Team

Lee Brockett
Lee BrockettManaging Director
Lee Brockett founded the Cascade365 Family of Companies in 2008.

Prior to Cascade365, Lee owned and operated Glass Mountain Capital, a specialty finance firm and GMC Credit Services, a nationally licensed collection agency. Lee’s first foray into specialty finance, credit and collections was at Applied Income Sciences, a hedge fund which he co-founded in 2002.

With more than 19 years of C-level experience in the technology, fund management, specialty finance and ARM industries, Lee brings a wealth of knowledge and passion for doing things “the right way”. An entrepreneur at-heart, Lee participates in various other companies as an equity investor, board member or advisor.

Lee has a JD from the University of San Francisco and a BA in Political Science from the University of Oregon.

Mike Merz
Mike MerzDirector of Operations
Michael Merz joined the Cascade365 Family of Companies in July 2012. Originally hired as an IT subcontractor, Michael proved his value through leadership, operational knowledge and revenue growth and was officially hired as a full time operations manager in October 2012.

Promoted to director of operations in September 2018, Michael applies his established leadership skills, creativity and operational expertise to Cascade’s revenue goals by managing various revenue channels and developing strategic partnerships.

With over 15 years of accounts receivable management and revenue cycle experience in the areas of corporate management, client services and revenue generation, Michael has a vast understanding of the recovery of healthcare and consumer finance receivables. He has established many strategic partnerships allowing for a compassionate and compliant receivables solution.

Michael attended Towson University where he earned a Bachelor of Science in accounting and business administration. Mike is an active outdoorsman and enjoys spending time with his family.With over 15 years of accounts receivable management and revenue cycle experience in the areas of corporate management, client services and revenue generation, Michael has a vast understanding of the recovery of healthcare and consumer finance receivables. Jeff Howell
Jeff HowellNational Sales
Jeff Howell joined the Cascade365 Family of Companies in June 2016. Jeff brings a consultative, relationship-driven sales approach which directly correlates to the company’s overall mission and revenue growth objectives.

Prior to joining the Cascade365 Family of Companies, Jeff served as the vice president of national sales and compliance at Bankrupt Debt Acquisitions.

He has held executive sales and business development positions with MasterFiles, TransUnion and a national 3rd party collection agency.

With more than 25 years of accounts receivable experience in the areas of sales leadership, collection life cycle, debt sales, and credit bureau operations, Jeff has extensive knowledge about the needs of the healthcare and consumer finance verticals. He has worked with many organizations in the marketplace to bring valuable solutions that have increased revenue and strategically improved overall financial performance.

Jeff attended Ohio Dominican University, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in business administration as well as a Master of Science in business administration and leadership. Jeff is active on the membership committees for Receivables Management Association International (RMAI), Emergency Department Practice Management Association (EDPMA) and the National Association of Health Services Executives (NAHSE). Jeff serves as the head varsity girls’ basketball coach at Madison Christian High School in Columbus, Ohio.

Kevin Andewiel
Kevin AndewielIT Manager
Kevin Andewiel joined the Cascade365 Family of Companies in August 2016. As IT and data administrator, he applied his knowledge to make a plethora of changes—for the better—to Cascade’s IT environment. He focuses on prioritizing security and implementing innovative products and technologies to further Cascade’s footprint in the electronic world.

Prior to joining the Cascade365 Family of Companies, Kevin served as IT technician at CrossCheck/Optio Solutions, implementing a series of newer technologies and design concepts prior to his departure.

With over 15 years in the IT world, including eight for collections companies, Kevin has extensive knowledge and has already made many positive changes at Cascade 365. He also has experience with collections dialers, intermediate database work, networking and server management and maintenance. Additionally, he continues to develop his skills, taking online classes as often as possible for relevant knowledge.

Nicole Green
Nicole GreenCompliance Manager
Nicole Green joined the Cascade365 Family of Companies in March 2014. As compliance manager, she applied her knowledge to implement broad changes to better Cascade’s compliance management system and vendor oversight. Her focus is on Cascade’s compliance management system and introducing innovative products to further Cascade’s compliance department and vendor oversight.

Prior to joining the Cascade365 Family of Companies, Nicole served as consumer relations support supervisor at CrossCheck/Optio Solutions, implementing a new compliance management system.

With over 15 years in the compliance world in the collections industry, Nicole has extensive expertise and has upgraded the compliance program with great results during her tenure at Cascade.

Nicole holds ACA International’s compliance CCCO designation and Receivables Management Association’s CRP compliance certification. Additionally, she continues to further her knowledge with compliance studies online.

Jeremy Carr
Jeremy CarrVendor Performance Manager
Jeremy Carr joined the Cascade365 Family of Companies in November 2019. As vendor performance manager, Jeremy combines an operational and relationship-driven mindset as he oversees Cascade’s robust, 20+ collection agency network. In addition to his vendor management duties, he also serves as the site supervisor at Cascade’s Tempe, AZ customer service call center.

Prior to joining the Cascade365 Family of Companies, Jeremy worked with multiple top-tier collection agencies specializing in operations, business and employee development.

With almost 20 years of consumer finance and healthcare account receivables experience in the areas of operational and call center leadership, Jeremy brings tremendous value and knowledge to the Cascade team of industry veterans. Jeremy’s expertise with managing teams and leading with a consultative, direct approach has increased staff productivity and improved financial performance.

By building professional relations and trust with our network of agencies, Jeremy is able to form a strong partnership and use his analysis and problem-solving skills to create comprehensive work strategies to enhance performance.

Jeremy is originally from Missouri and now lives in Arizona with his wife and three kids. They enjoy sports, movies and all things outdoors.

Yinze Li
Yinze LiFinancial & Analytics Manager
Yinze Li joined the Cascade365 Family of Companies in June 2018. As the finance and analytics manager, Yinze primarily focuses on examining and analyzing incoming data from a perspective vital to purchase. He also designs, creates and manages various financial models and reports.

Prior to joining the Cascade365 Family of Companies, he worked as a mortgage trade analyst for one year, specializing in secondary market transactions.

Yinze has 5 years of experience of using R, SQL, Tableau, and Python to perform statistical analysis, streamlining process and prediction. He also has a strong background in financial analysis, statistical modeling and programming.

Yinze passed all four sections of the AICPA exam in 2017. He holds two master’s degrees in business analytics and accounting from Arizona State University and Miami University, respectively. He also has a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Northern Kentucky University.

Chan Phengaroune joined the Cascade365 Family of Companies in July 2019. Originally hired as a staff accountant, Chan proved his value through his knowledge of GAAP accounting and was promoted to accounting manager in March 2019. With over 15 years of accounting experience in the manufacturing, retail and financial industries, Chan has a vast understanding of GAAP accounting.
