CASCADE365’s CALL MONITORING PROGRAM

by Nicole Green, Compliance Manager and Robbie Myers, Compliance Analyst

Call monitoring and quality assurance are critical components of Cascade365’s robust compliance management system. A key element of this framework is consistent monitoring of consumer communications, both internally and across our outsourced collection agency network. These monitoring efforts are designed to identify and remediate potential compliance risks, promote adherence to applicable laws and policies, and to ensure consistent consumer experience across all collection activities.

Internally, Cascade365’s Compliance Department conducts call monitoring daily, utilizing ProInsight from Prodigal Technologies for call analytics, which includes a keyword tagging system configured by the Compliance team to flag calls for potential compliance concerns. All flagged calls are manually reviewed each day by trained compliance personnel to evaluate regulatory compliance, verify adherence to scripting and company policy, and ensure professionalism. Findings are remediated through a formal coaching and compliance notice policy, ensuring agents receive timely feedback and corrective guidance. To reinforce a strong compliance culture, Cascade365 also maintains a compliance incentive program that rewards its collection agents who avoid receiving either a coaching or compliance notice for two consecutive months.

Externally, Cascade365 applies a similar but structured monthly review process to its outsourced collection agency network. All calls on Cascade365 accounts are submitted monthly by each collection vendor and processed through the Prodigal platform using the same keyword tagging system applied to internal calls. Calls flagged by the system are manually reviewed by trained compliance personnel. Findings are documented on their monthly agency compliance scorecard, which also includes a weighted score. Agencies that fall below established compliance thresholds are required to submit written remediation plans to Cascade365’s Compliance Department in order to ensure the necessary corrective action is effectuated, and agencies demonstrating consistent deficiencies resulting in repeatedly poor scores may be subject to disciplinary action that could include the suspension or termination of account placements.

While Cascade365 relies heavily on advanced technology to support its call monitoring and analytics capabilities, the program is intentionally designed to maintain a strong manual review component. Human oversight allows compliance professionals to assess context, validate system-generated findings, and determine appropriate remedial actions. By combining sophisticated technology with a hands-on compliance review, Cascade ensures that monitoring results are accurate, actionable, and consistently applied across both internal operations and its external collection agency network. This call monitoring program is both a critical and effective process to reduce risk, meet regulatory expectations, and drive organizational compliance.
