Earlier this month all Cascade365 department managers spent two days at the Saguaro Lake Ranch in Mesa, AZ to discuss strategy, areas to improve, and opportunities for the 2025 calendar year.
The sessions were long, intense, and filled with open transparency with a common theme centering around these three acronyms: GSD (Get Stuff Done), RAD (Redundancy, Automation, Documentation), and GAS (Go Above and Succeed).
During very early mornings or late evenings, the Cascade365 team took part in some hiking, kayaking, fire pit conversations, and some fantastic food in a very beautiful and picturesque setting around the Salt River and mountains. These pictures are amazing, and the team left the ranch with renewed energy, ready for growth and improved efficiencies in 2025.

The Meaning of Deepawali
from Smita Karki, Operations Specialist
|
|
Deepawali, also known as Diwali, is a Hindu festival that symbolizes the victory of light over darkness, good over evil. Deepawali is celebrated in the month of Kartik , which usually falls in late October or early November and is a five-day celebration.
In Nepal, Deepawali is celebrated by lighting lamps, called diyas, as well as cleaning and decorating the entire home with lights and flowers. People also make rangoli which is an art form of creating colorful patterns on the ground or tabletop. Rangoli is used to welcome Hindu gods and guests into the home, and to bring joy.
Deepawali honors Lakshmi, the goddess of wealth and prosperity. Hindu worship Lakshmi and light lamps to help Lakshmi find her way into the homes to bring money and good luck. The final day of Deepawali celebrates the love between siblings. Sisters place 7 colors on their brothers foreheads and the brothers give gifts to their sisters.
