I hope that everyone enjoyed a jam-packed month of October, kicking off with International Coffee Day followed by World Mental Health Day. I had no idea about either “day”, but I celebrate Coffee Day every day so why not on 10/1 and a focus on mental health on 10/10 couldn’t hurt with the upcoming elections and also regulatory uncertainty surrounding one of Cascade365’s core business verticals, revenue cycle management.

Happy Halloween and please be assured that Cascade365 is here to
“Boo-st Your Bottom Line” with its proprietary AR Liquidity Solutions.

Shake Off the Sitting Blues!

Did you know that sitting too much can seriously impact your health? The “sitting disease” raises risks for diabetes, heart disease, and more—but staying active doesn’t mean you need to run a marathon! Little changes like taking walking meetings, parking farther away, or standing during phone calls can make a big difference. Even just five minutes of movement can boost your health.

This month’s Altitude Newsletter from our friends over at March McLennan dives into that and more! Let’s keep moving and beat the sitting blues together!

Sales Department Town Hall

Earlier this month the Sales Department led by Director of National Sales, Jeff Howell held a town hall style conversation with the Phoenix team. The gathering included Cascade365 members from collections, operations, and finance and relevant topics included: Cascade365 solutions, role of the sales department, target audience, sales cycle progression, and marketing. This was a very interactive meeting and allowed other departments within Cascade365 to get a feel of all that is involved on the front end of our business model as the prospect transitions to becoming a Cascade365 client.

Field Trip to Dell’s Pizza and Sports Bar!
Casa Grande, Arizona

While Director of National Sales, Jeff Howell was in Phoenix working from Cascade365’s call center operations, the topic of where to go for the best pizza in the area came up. Through conversations it was shared that Cascade365 Portfolio Analyst, Landen Means has a family owned (his great grandparents) pizza spot about 45 minutes from Phoenix in Casa Grande, AZ that was very good and worth the drive. Sold!!!

In 1964 Ed and Dell Sarnowski opened a small restaurant in the plaza of Arizona City where they served pizza and sandwiches. In 1967 they moved to their current location in Casa Grande where they had only a few tables to serve customers. Back then there were no other restaurants who served pizza; a small cheese pizza cost $1.25 and a Glass of Tap Beer was $0.25. Wow!! In 1986 the Sarnowski’s purchased a big screen TV and a satellite to watch their favorite sports teams and Dell’s became one of the first sports bar restaurants in the area. Because of the family’s love of sports, Dell’s now has 33 TV’s and is THE go-to spot in Casa Grande where folks can watch big games from the NBA, NFL, NHL, MLB, NCAA and more.

Dell’s has always been family owned and operated. Ed passed away in 1977 and Dell in 2012 and now second and third generations continue to manage the restaurant. For over 60 years the dough is still made fresh daily, sausage is hand ground and seasoned, cheese hand grated and vegetables sliced so that every pizza can be made to order. This place is legit, and Landen and his family should be very proud of the growth and legacy of his family-owned business.

Cascade365 COO, Saket Sahoo
Joins DCS Panel Discussion

Cascade365 COO, Saket Sahoo participated in a BPO panel discussion at the Debt Connection Symposium (DCS) in New Orleans earlier this month. He was joined on the panel by Tom Nusspickel of American First Finance and Altaf Sayed of Epicenter Technologies to share best practices related to incorporating Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) for Banks, Debt Buyers, Collection Agencies, and/or Law Firms.  BPO is a business practice where a company contracts with a third-party to handle some or all its business functions. The goal is to save money, free up time, and focus on the company’s core business. BPO’s can include for example, back-office tasks like payroll and billing, or mission-critical functions like insurance claims processing. Great job, Saket!
